How to Buy a Deer Antler Chandelier

So, you've decided to buy a deer antler chandelier. But you aren't exactly sure where to start to find something that fits your home. Or maybe you're wary of being ripped off... After all, it's easy for person to originate a tacky fake replica of an intricate work of art. How do you tell the good from the bad, or outline out what flows with your decor? And once you've got all that down, how do you get the best price possible on your unique chandelier? Well, it's literally a specialized subject, and so there are some equally specialized tips. There are also more broadly applicable hints if you need them, to make the most of your shopping time. It's not necessarily as hard as you'd think, despite the unique field matter!

One quick way to distinguish fakes from the real thing is straight through a optic inspection of the antler shapes. Real antlers are each unique to a deer, just as fingerprints are unique to humans. If you see two chandeliers that look alike in design, they're artificial. The mark of nature is in constant variation! While many chandeliers may have similar basic building techniques, the exact shapes of the antlers are as unique as flakes of snow.

Even more than with most products, with antler chandeliers, brand matters. The creation of these chandeliers is a highly-specialized process. The companies that make them have, for the most part, been nearby for some time and made names for themselves with their products. If you buy a chandelier from a no-name company, you're probably getting, at best, a skilled imitation. Find the companies in your area that handle the production of these beautiful chandeliers and observe their wares directly, rather than going straight through broad third-party storefronts. If you're using long-distance companies, the good ones will be happy to offer photographs of the currently ready stock if you query appropriately.

Another way to tell the real thing from knockoffs is checking to see if the exact type of antler is specified. Everyone knows there's more than one species of deer! And the species makes a divergence in the look of the antlers, so any real goods should be exact in what types of antlers it uses: fallow deer antlers, mule deer antlers, and so on.

How do all these things impact the price? Fairly minimally, for the most part. Since deer are plentiful and acquiring antlers isn't difficult, the price for antler-based chandeliers is set more by other factors than the materials used in the basic structure. The larger the chandelier, the more tiers it has, the more lights and the more intricate the light fixtures are, the higher the price will be. Many of the multi-tiered chandeliers have retail prices in thousands of dollars, with the profusion of lights accompanied by equally impressive artistry in antler placement. It is possible to find perfectly good chandeliers made of antlers for as petite as four hundred dollars or so, but the designs will be simpler and less awe-inspiring. Of course, if you just want something nice and rustic to add some charm to a low-key bedroom or living room, that might be just what you're looking for, anyway. Keeping all these facts in mind, there's no hypothesize for you to not be able to get exactly the chandelier you want, but you may have to pay appropriately for it, as with whatever in this world.
