Jinnah Mausoleum

Mazar-e-Quaid or the National Mausoleum refers to the tomb of the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. E 'icon in Karachi throughout the world. The mausoleum is located in the heart of the city, completed in 1960. It is made of white marble with curved Moorish arches and copper grills resting on a raised platform 54 square meters. Cool inner sanctum reflects the green of a four-story crystal chandelier gifted by the people of China. Around the mausoleum there is aPark equipped with a high-beamed lights, the light at night on a project of the mausoleum white. The situation is generally calm and quiet, which is significant considering that it is in the heart of one of the largest metropolises in the world. The grave light can be seen miles in the night. Liaqat Ali Khan, first Prime Minister of Pakistan, Jinnah and his sister, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, are buried next to Jinnah. Official and military ceremonies take place here on special occasions,in particular, March 23, 14 August, 11 September, 25 December 8 July and 30 July. Dignitaries and foreign officials who visit this site. Mazar-e-Quaid is now officially recognized as a national Mausloeum the country.
